Have you ever spotted a brand that makes you stop your scroll?
Social media is saturated with a lot of content, and most of it is the same. old. stuff.

Feeding Creativity is dedicated to those brands whose feeds (get it?) step outside of the box. It’s all about innovative, artsy, and refreshing brands that ultimately inspire us here at DRPM.

CorePower Yoga: The First Impression

Let’s be honest, first impressions are everything – especially on social media. You see a post, a feed, a story or ad and immediately judge it. To get a fresh first impression of the brand, I sent the CorePower Yoga Instagram feed to a couple of our employees at DRPM and asked them for the First Five Words that popped into their heads.

SHIREE Art Director imageShiree:
Fit, Healthy Lifestyle, Fun with Fitness, Meditation, Present in the Moment

MarinaMarina:
Balance, Life, Health, Strength, Bright and Positive

Kristen, Diedrich RPM, Account ExecutiveKristen:

NATHAN Digital Media Manager imageNathan:

Pudding, Please!

After checking out my coworkers’ responses, I dug into some of CorePower’s Facebook posts, Instagram feeds, and their social media presence overall. As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and I was looking to validate my coworkers first impressions.

Were they true?

Is the message behind the imaging of CorePower Yoga truly bright and positive, happy, and inspirational?

Yes. It sure is! Which is why we love CorePower. They are authentic, and their first impression is true and follows through in all of their posts.

Let’s check it out. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Fun with Fitness

CorePower’s Instagram feed definitely gives off a fun vibe. Many of their posts feature real people having a good time doing yoga. It definitely makes me want to grab a mat and get my Savasana on. Actually, brb, going to check out the nearest yoga studio.

Adventurous

Scrolling through the feed, I saw a variety of backgrounds and cities. I think CorePower does a solid job of showcasing how yoga can be done anywhere, which really adds to its appeal. It makes me feel like doing yoga will automatically give me a reason to take more trips, even if that makes no sense.

Strength

Empowering

The best part of CorePower’s feed in my opinion is that it uses real people. These are every day, relatable, people with all kinds of body types. And all of them are doing incredible things! Yeah, we’re getting better at empowering people to focus on what their bodies can do rather than what they look like. However, I feel like yoga is the one of the only sports that actually embraces this concept.

All in all, it’s hard not to really dig a lot of what CorePower Yoga is dishing out on their social channels, and I am consistently scrolling their feed for inspiration. In fact, our Digital Marketing Manager, Nathan, has talked me in to hitting up a Sculpt class with him later this week.

Just goes to show that you don’t need to sell your product on social channels to make sales.
Build those relationships. Inspire people. Make your followers intrigued by your content.

Folks, that’s a wrap on my thoughts on CorePower. As the social media wizard here at DRPM, I am always looking for inspiring accounts to help me upgrade my magic. Have an account you love that I should check out? Send me a message!

Until next time ✌🏻
