Liz Diedrich and The Platinum Group Come Together for a Family in Need
On July 12th, Liz Diedrich, CEO of Diedrich RPM, volunteered with eight members of The Platinum Group to insulate an attic for a family in need through Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. With the weather reaching up to 90-degrees, they completed the task and found it a very rewarding experience.
“It was a tough day . . . but quite an education,” says Diedrich. “What impressed me was the time that the Habitat folks spent in education the volunteers. It was clear to me that there are many misconceptions about the recipients of Habitat. Additionally, the Habitat folks worked right along side us and had so much great building knowledge. They build or repair over 200 homes for hardworking, low-income families. I encourage others to volunteer, donate and learn about the organization.”
“Thank you for being a part of the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity family,” said Sue Haigh, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity. “Your hard work helps improve the lives of many local families.”
